I’ve always admired capturing the in-between moments within my life both rich in color and moody in light. Those candid moments that turn nostalgic. The little instances that would pass when you blinked. They’ve played an incredible amount within documenting my own memories. And I quickly learned the love for capturing others’ as well.
Within my own work – I believe in those quiet moments. I believe that the wind has it’s own voice and that there is a stillness in the light. I’ve learned to chase the moon, while others skip for the sun. I’ve learned to capture the little details between two individual souls – the quick little nose kisses, interlocking fingers, and the mid-laughs. Because of this, I’ve learned to leave the little bits and pieces of my very self within each frame. And finally, the last thing I’ve learned is the only way to make an image that truly matters is to be both vulnerable and honest with it.
I consider my clients, my friends. They trust me. They trust me to capture them as a whole, rather than an individual. They trust me observe those raw imperfectly perfect moments that build their unique love. They trust me to capture what it feels like, rather than what it looks like as the day unfolds. A beautiful concept that allows me to observe life, experience the love, and witness the authentic beauty between each and every couple.
